I just got back in town from my last wedding of the summer, and I finally have a few spare minutes to post some highlights from this summer’s weddings. Expect the blog to be updated more frequently now that the rush is over!
Here are some shots from the wedding of Tara and Brad, held at Langley Presbyerian Church and the Langley Seniors Resource Centre’s newly-renovated banquet hall on July 10, 2010:
What can I say about Tara and Brad and their wedding party? That was one lively and fun bunch to work with! It was a hot and sunny day—the perfect backdrop for the surprise butterfly release that Teresa, the Maid of Honour, had planned for after the ceremony. It turns out that the day was full of surprises, as Tara and Brad surprised their guests at the reception with a private performance by none other than Nearly Neil!

Here are some of the other vendors who made the day come together so beautifully:
- Milestone Events provided the church decor, as well as the linens and centrepieces for the reception. The tables exuded elegant simplicity, with their curly willow and orchid centrepieces atop beautiful, crisp black tablecloths.
- The cheery yellow bouquets and boutonnieres were created by Raj at Didi’s Flowers.
- Tara’s friend Claire baked the wedding cake and cupcakes as a gift for her friends. Delicious!
- The whole day was filmed by videographers Kathy and Steph of Marliss Productions, who are the perfect storm of talent, humour, fun, and professionalism! I can’t wait to work with them again!
