Cute as a Button.

I keep seeing fantastic decor elements that make ingenious use of buttons, which can be a real moneysaver in items that would traditionally be made of flowers.  Bouquets and boutonnieres made of felt and buttons are all the rage these days.  But it doesn’t stop there—you can incorporate buttons into many more elements of the big day.  Why not try a little DIY and see what you come up with?

    LOVE this idea! Shoot I’ll have to get married again so I have an opp to use this! 😉 I use buttons for homemade cards and hait barrettes but really like the ones u found in this post!

    Thanks, Julie! The great thing is, you can use all of these button creations–aside from the bouquet–for other events. No need for a repeat wedding! I’m definitely going to make the handstitched placecards for a dinner party or two. And I’m sure you can convince Brian that the one thing missing from his business suit is a cheerful button boutonniere 😉 …
