Cute as a Button.

I keep seeing fantastic decor elements that make ingenious use of buttons, which can be a real moneysaver in items that would traditionally be made of flowers.  Bouquets and boutonnieres made of felt and buttons are all the rage these days.  But it doesn’t stop there—you can incorporate buttons into many more elements of the big day.  Why not try a little DIY and see what you come up with?

Here are some highlights from today’s eye candy search!

Thanks, Julie! The great thing is, you can use all of these button creations–aside from the bouquet–for other events. No need for a repeat wedding! I’m definitely going to make the handstitched placecards for a dinner party or two. And I’m sure you can convince Brian that the one thing missing from his business suit is a cheerful button boutonniere ;)
